Example of Guidelines and Instructions

The 2025 Rural Urban Awards pertain to activities launched or ongoing in the 2024 calendar year and/or the first quarter of 2025. However, the activity does not have to remain on the market at the time that the Awards package submissions are due. Businesses, Organizations, Nor For Profits and individuals servicing or serving the region of Chatham-Kent are eligible to submit applications for the Rural Urban Awards pursuant to the following eligibility requirements:

  • If a member of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce the applicant must be a member in good standing as of December 31, 2024 in order to submit an application.
  • The applicant if a member of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce applicant must be a member in good standing of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce on the night of the Rural Urban Awards in order to receive an award.
  • The applicant if NOT a member of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce agrees to meet with Chamber staff or a volunteer to discuss the benefits of being a member of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce.
  • All entries must be for activities between January 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.
  • All activities must be located in our local region.
